Implementation of individual personal care plan through individual and small group activities. Help prepare instructional materials as directed and maintains the upkeep of these materials. Use specialized technology such as communication devices and adaptive switches. Accurately complete data collection sheets. Supervise clients and assure their safety at all times, including assisting with meals and toileting.
Basic Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Valid driver’s license (MA, CT, or NY State). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time. Prefer, experience working with a Special Needs population. Must meet program requirements for background checks (Acceptable CORI - Criminal Offender Record Information and OIG).
