Assistant Program Manager Residential (Children/Adult)

Provide leadership and staff supervision to residential counselors. Primary responsibility for responsible for recreational and social development, and resource management and insuring that supports and services are provided for the individuals who reside in the program. Insure that adequate, trained staff are available each shift. Supervise staff on job performance.

Oversee and monitor shifts in the absence of the Program Manager. Direct care responsibilities.


Basic Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Valid driver’s license (MA, CT, or NY State). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time. Prefer, experience working with a Special Needs population. Must meet program requirements for background checks (Acceptable CORI - Criminal Offender Record Information and OIG).


Additional Requirements: Prior supervisory experience and 3 years’ experience in Human Services.


Full-time with Benefits
40 hours (4 days, 5 shifts) Saturday Double 7 am – 11 pm & Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 1 – 9pm
Sunday Double (4 days, 5 shifts) 7 am – 11 pm & Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1 – 9 pm
Night Shift (5 days, 5 shifts) 11 pm – 7 am
